How I send emails to subscribers whenever there is a new post on my blog?
(Last Updated On: December 7, 2018)

Hi everyone, do you want to send emails automatically to your subscribers when you publish a new post on your blog? In this post, we are gonna look into all this from A to Z. I will share what method I use, currently, at present. So without any further ado, let’s get on to it.

The email will look something like this:

Follow the steps below to know how to send emails to your subscribers every time you post a new article:

1. Open Mailchimp

Sign up for MailChimp here or if you are an existing user then you can log into it.
I already have a MailChimp account so I am simply logging in.

2. Create a List

Mailchimp Lists
Mailchimp Lists

Then go to ‘Lists’. A ‘list’ is something where you can save your subscribers who want to stay updated about your posts. If you already have a list (your blog’s list) then we can go ahead with that but if you don’t have your blog’s list then you can create a new list easily. It’s better to give your list an easy name like, ‘My Blog’s Followers‘, here you can replace ‘My Blog’ with your blog’s actual name.
If you are very new and don’t know how to create a list in MailChimp then check out these simple instructions on how to create a list. These are very basic things so I am not gonna write them again here in this post. I want to very specific about the topic 🙂

As you can see above, I already have a list, named ‘Bloggerish Followers‘. You can get all your blog’s subscribers in your list easily. I will soon post a new article describing how to create a ‘subscription form’ to get new email subscribers to your list . And if you have switched to MailChimp, then you can import your subscribers via CSV file or other available methods.

3. Create a Campaign

It’s time to create a campaign now.

Select the day and time when you want to send the emails on an automatic basis.
Tick the box which says, ‘Resize RSS feed images to fit template
Click the ‘Next’ button after that.
