I’m using freepic for my blog. They have a great collection but You must attribute the image to its author.

  5. Hi Harsh,

I came to your site from the FB group Bloggers for Bloggers.

A Blog post without images makes for a visually boring read. It does not matter if the content adds value or not.

Placing appropriate copyright free images within your Blog post is a constant battle for regular Bloggers. Some of us, pay for images by taking out a subscription on websites that sell images. This can get quite pricey in the long term.

That said, receiving an Email asking you to remove an image from within your Blog post or face penalties can be pretty upsetting.

Some Bloggers work around this by placing a full acknowledgement under an image they’ve used. Unfortunately there are times when that’s not enough. The Blogger can still get an email requesting them to take down the image they’ve used without authorization.

Your Blog post adds real value to all Bloggers. The copyright / royalty free image website’s you’ve shared do a great job offering free to use images to Bloggers. They are sure that they will not get into any kind of copyright / royalty trouble with images downloaded for use from such sites.

    Take a look at unsplash.com.

I use it to get copyright / royalty free images when I need them.

    Thanks for sharing Harsh.
